Story
We met on the farm and have known each other for almost 4 years. Dakṣa was in the men’s ashram, and I in the ladies ashram. I liked Dakṣa in 2022, but didn’t think he would ever be interested, so I dropped the idea.
However, in February this year, Dakṣa approached me and (with no preparation, and a lot of guts) confessed his desire to want to be with me.
I always admired his sincerity in Krishna consciousness, respectful nature, and love of his siblings and family; and Dakṣa over time, started to notice Sajjani’s hard working nature, dedication to progress spiritually, kind and supportive nature, and absolutely jaw-dropping beauty (you can take a guess who’s writing this part of the story :).
I think we surprised each other as to how well we get along, even though coming from totally opposite upbringings! Feeling like we’re both on the same page, and able to have a joke with each other, be honest, and love the little things - we couldn’t ask for more. Although, we are both strong-minded and stubborn at times, our appreciation for each other at the end of the day always prevails!
Tidbits
How did you first meet?
While Daksa was living in Sydney in 2021, he visited home in the school holidays, and first met Sajjani at the temple in October 2021.
Who made the first move? How?
Under the Kadamba tree outside of Radha-Govardhanadhari's home, Daksa approached Sajjani on Valentine's Day, of 2024.
What's your favorite activity together?
We love to spend time with our families!
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Anything Sajjani cooks is usually the best :). But otherwise, Daksa’s favourite sweet are motichoor ladoos, and Sajjani's favorite sweet is a good srikhand. :)
We’re on the same page about
Growing as a couple, and supporting one another in having a God-centered life.
A life goal of ours
We have many lol, but a few are: traveling, raising Krsna Conscious children, & finding happiness in service!

Yes, kind of! We'll have a gift table at the gurukula school hall, however donations are preferred and so there will be a 'Wishing Well' (donation box) at the reception too :).

Thank you in advance!
🤗
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them back with us via Messages or WhatsApp/Telegram.
However, please refrain from getting in the way of Sudama, our wedding photographer, and try your best to not be seen in his frame holding your phone :). 📸
Who did the wedding invitations?
Gulshaan! Some of you may know her, she stayed in the ladies ashram earlier in 2024. Yes she is talented indeed, and we’re so happy we had her help! 😊 🖼️ 🎨
Will food be served?
Of course! At the Gurukula school hall - There will be a wonderful feast served, cooked by different devotees, but the main preps will be headed by Dakṣa & Sajjani's mothers, Bavi & Maree. 😊
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The wedding itself will be inside the Temple room, but the Reception and prasadam will be in the Gurukula school hall.
